Reviews:
4.0 Mario Bautista (Showbiz Portal)
“The film works mainly because of the restraint in unfolding the narrative, enhanced by the first rate acting of Junjun as the sympathetic sex worker and Mark as his kind friend.” (Read full review)
3.5 Manuel Pangaruy (Tagailog Special Presents)
“Old school ang pagkakadirek (na isang magandang relief sa ‘sangkaterbang daluyong ng mga experimental films ngayong taon) para sa old school na tema, at para sa akin, naitawid naman ito nang maayos at buo.” (Read capsule review)
2.5 Philbert Dy (Click the City)
“There are trickier emotions to explore, but the film ends up playing too safe by falling back on the clichés of its plot. It’s a sturdy enough film in the end, but it isn’t very exciting.” (Read capsule review)
2.5 Lyndon Maburaot (Table Stretcher)
“The narrative between Philip and Bastian felt real and culled from the filmmaker’s personal experience. Had the thrust of the film been solely between them, it would have amounted to something commendable. But it tried to go further and thus was weighed down by its overarching ambitions.” (Read full review)
