Reviews:
5.0 Mark Angelo Ching (PEP)
“10,000 Hours is a triumph. Ambitious in scope, it succeeds because the team behind it is willing to go big.” (Read full review)
4.5 Fred Hawson (ABS-CBN News)
“10,000 Hours is a very well-crafted Filipino film of a quality that is rarely seen. The technical aspect is flawless, impressively by an almost all-female behind-the-scenes crew.” (Read full review)
3.5 Nicol Latayan (Tit for Tat)
“Production of the film is top notch here. Cinematography, sound, and stunts all factored in to come up with a really thrilling output. Instead of using some old fashioned tricks when it comes to pulling action scenes, Bernal decides to give it a refreshed spin, and it shows.” (Read full review)
3.5 Reviewed That!
“There were some scenes that looked amateurish but the coherence of the story is solid. The twist in the end, while not original, is passable.” (Read full review)
3.0 Philbert Dy (Click the City)
“10000 Hours is never really very convincing as a treatise against corruption in this country. It fails to make it seem like its main character is actually much of a crusader, those titular hours largely spent not doing much of anything. But it is kind of fun in its own way, its silliness elevated to entertainment through a really solid production package.” (Read full review)
3.0 Zig Marasigan (Rappler)
“10,000 Hours often stumbles with its pacing simply because it focuses on too much. But the many threads woven into 10,000 Hours are admittedly enough to create a half-dozen more films well on their own.” (Read full review)
2.5 Zarlene Chua (Business World)
“10,000 Hours could have been a decent movie if the makers toned down the ambitiousness a little… In the end, the twists and surprise reveals do not, in any way, explain the glaring plot holes in the story.” (Read full review)
2.0 Carljoe Javier (GMA News)
“The largest problem of the film is a lack of vision. While the film benefits from having a lot of money and good equipment and it generally looks good, it is still limited in its imagination.” (Read full review)
